Are ya'll leaving San Juan at 7am, or plan to be at the trailhead then? I'm planning on meeting you there (I'm coming from the north ... Ontarion area).

The first trail starts near Warner Springs

33.33080° N, 116.70924° W

if we leave San Clemente Carl's Jr. at 7am, we arrive about 8:30. If anyone prefers to meet there, that also works.

The first trail will be about 3 hours, depending on how many side trails we take.

The second trail is at

33.56774° N, 116.51176° W

best guess is starting about 12:30 or 1:00, but hard to say exactly. Also about 3 hours, but it depends.

Perfect. I will meet you at the trailhead at 830.

FYI...

Palomar Divider Road was listed as closed, but they finally changed it to open yesterday.

My wife tested positive for Covid this week, after being out of town for the weekend. I have been in quarantine since Tuesday, but have tested negative Tuesday, Thursday, and this morning. I plan on making the trip, but will take great care to keep my distance. If anyone is uncomfortable with that, I won't be disapointed if you decide to bail.

Thanks,

Greg
