Moonless night run

February 10th 2024

Description

This is a dark run, new moon. Doing some dark sky/Milky Way viewing. Inspiration Canyon backwards, fonts point overlook in the dark.  (Never been there after sun set, should be interesting how far you can see if it's clear, lights in the distance etc.) various trails, make our way to Highway 78, and if you're camping, onto camp. Camping in the cactus garden just below Harper Canyon. Short run at night, just to play with our lights, hopefully see many stars, shooting stars, planets, satellites, space station and UFOs. Setting this up as an evening run, should be about three hours or so.
I plan on camping Saturday night and I am going out Saturday afternoon to set up and then meet at Christmas Circle if you'd like to come with me, meet at Carl's Jr. South San Clemente at 11 o'clock .
Otherwise, this is an evening run.
