My friend leads these trips to Mexico, I am going on this one. To call it a Rubicon is bold, see if it holds up. I am told you can bypass anything you are not comfortable with, but I don’t imagine it will be too crazy. Should be a fun trip with private land access. It will be overlanding and rock crawling.  If anyone wants to go they can caravan with me to La Rumerosa MX, east of Tecate. Room and Board included, we camp one night on private land hotels on the other two nights.

Some of you have asked for a more "challenging" run. We have heard you and if you are into rocks then this is your run

Details

Feb 26th- Meet at El Portal Hotel in La Rumerosa Hotel

Feb 27th- Head down the La Rumerosa grade, across the Laguna Salada dry lake bed. There you can test your rig up a beautiful, granite filled wash with bypass to a private palm filled canyon oasis. Then we will soak our worries away in a natural hot spring. CAMPING! bring you gear

Feb 28th- Crawl through another difficult granite filled wash and up the historic El Mano grade to Horsepower Ranch.

Feb 29th- Cross a beautiful 8000 acre private ranch with all levels of crawling obstacles. Then head back to the U.S. border in Tecate.

$750 for 2 people
