Weekend in Anza Borrego desert.ill be taking Grapvine canyon , off of S22, to camp, will be camping at Yaqui Wells campground. Yaqui Wells is a primitive Campground, with pit toilets. No ground fires are permitted, but Bruce will be bringing his metal fire ring so bring fire wood.
Friday afternoon is open, we’ll see how it goes.
Saturday will go out and explore, with the rains this year the desert is greening up. Should be quite picturesque, you know, flowers and stuff.
Sunday, maybe do a half day and then head home or stay another night if you wish. I believe there will be other staying Sunday night
If you’re planning on making a day trip of it come out Saturday, be at Yaqui Wells campground by 8 AM. Contact me if you need directions to camp.
Im planing to head out Friday and be at trail head by noon. Meet at Carl’s Jr. In San Clemente at 9:00 or if it works better to meet at trail head by noon. Please let me know in advance if this is what your plan Is. Will do last gas at La Jolla Indian reservation

Meet at the Carls Jr, 5 freeway south end San Clemente. Or at Grapevine Canyon off the S 22.
If your Coming out Saturday, Yaquii Wells campground is just off of Highway 78 on the S3
